MOJA KIDS IS AN GLOBAL ONLINE COMMUNITY FOR CHILDREN TO EXPRESS THEIR IDEAS AND TALENTS, CONNECTING AND COMMUNICATING BEYOND THE CONFINES OF THEIR CHALLENGING SURROUNDINGS.
Starting out in 2010 as a printed newsletter created and distributed by children in Cox’s Bazar and the Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh; Moja Kids has evolved into an innovative digital platform which is opening up a host of opportunities to connect children and broaden their horizons. Using simple technology, Moja Kids enables children to record video presentations, which are projected back and forth between classrooms in refugee camps and slum communities in Bangladesh -- opening up a means of dialogue between the refugee and host communities that would otherwise be impossible. |

Children here can feel isolated from the world beyond the slum or camp where they live, so through Moja Kids, Children on the Edge and its partners are working to connect them not only with each other, but also with peers living in different countries and situations.
This will help all the children involved to understand something of the wider world, to share and celebrate their similarities and differences with children from other cultures, and to create a global online community. |
